Julian Joslin is a New York-based writer, director, and editor. For eight years, Joslin worked for federal public defenders in New York City, assisting with the defense of eleven alleged terrorists, including Bin Laden lieutenant Khalid Al-Fawwaz, international arms dealer Viktor Bout, the Newburgh Four, and AQAP member Minh Quang Pham. He consulted on the Shonda Rhimes legal drama FOR THE PEOPLE and the HBO documentary THE NEWBURGH STING. Laith Nakli is a Syrian actor and writer best known for his roles as Uncle Naseem on Hulu’s RAMY and as Sheikh Abdullah in the upcoming Disney+ and Marvel series MS. MARVEL. MARK BERGER

Mark is the co-founder and President of Play Hooky Productions with Academy Award Winner Sam Rockwell. They recently signed a TV first look deal with MGM/ UA, where they have multiple projects in development. Previously Mark worked on Broadway, where he was the Associate Producer of the Tony Award Winning, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH as well as OF MICE AND MEN. He worked under the visionary producer, David Binder, the current Artistic Director of BAM. Mark holds an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business and a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

JOE DEPASQUALE

Joe DePasquale is a Brooklyn-based film and commercial producer. He attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he produced dozens of short films, while gaining professional experience in the camera and lighting departments on major TV shows and commercials. While at NYU, he co-founded the production company Yacht Club as a creative collective to produce short films and music videos. Yacht Club grew into a full fledged commercial and short form production company working with brands such as Gillette, Maybelline, Pfizer, and Ray-Ban. In the narrative world, Joe's producing credits include Black Swell, starring RIchard Kind (Slamdance 2016, Vimeo Staff Pick, Short of the Week), Rogers and Tilden (Tribeca Film Festival 2019), Light My Fire (Short of the Week), and Ghosted "Get Some" (SXSW 2018).

MATT MORGAN

Matt Morgan is a Brooklyn-based director, editor, and producer. Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Morgan attended New York University. While at NYU, Morgan and two classmates founded the production company Yacht Club. With a background in graphic design, editing, and cinematography, Morgan became a sought-after commercial director with a specialty in tabletop and beauty. He’s directed content for brands such as Maybelline and Under Armour, as well as his own narrative projects.

ZACH KUPERSTEIN

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Zach Kuperstein, a New York-based cinematographer listed among Variety’s Artisan Elites, burst onto the field with the Southern gothic film, THE EYES OF MY MOTHER, premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. His work earned him nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards and the Camerimage International Film Festival. Kuperstein followed this up with JONATHAN, a dark sci-fi tale, which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. Since then he’s lensed six more features including THE CLIMB, winning the Jury’s Heart award at 2019’s Cannes Film Festival, followed by screenings at Telluride and Sundance, then together with Zach’s most recent work, THE VIGIL, at the Toronto International Film Festival and the would-be 2020 SXSW Festival. Both recent films are currently making their way to theaters around the world.

Ashley Ingram is a New York-based casting director. Jayne Clark is a Production Designer living in Brooklyn, NY.  Her commercial clients include NY Mag, Vice, VFiles, Ogilvy, Droga5, and Out Magazine. She has assisted Production Designers Nathan Crowley on THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and Bob Shaw on THE IRISHMAN. In 2018 she designed her first feature, WATCH ME DROWN, for directors Nathan Silver and Jack Dunphy and in 2019 designed Olivia Peace’s TAHARA, which premiered at Slamdance.

Play Hooky Productions was founded by Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell, and his producing partner Mark Berger. Together they seek to foster bold, subversive and artist-driven work.
